AI homework help by grade, for pupils and parents
Use an AI homework helper to understand the method, check your own answer and practise the step you got wrong, not to copy answers you can't repeat in a class test. OrujovAI is free to start and does this in Azerbaijani, Russian or English: Solve works through a typed or photographed problem step by step, and the chat explains and checks.
Solve a homework problem step by step →How to use AI for homework without just copying
AI can write an answer in seconds, and that is the problem. A small summative assessment (KSQ) is written in class without a phone, the teacher may ask you to explain a step, and the next topic builds on this one. Copying leaves the gap in place.
So is it cheating? Learning from AI is studying; handing in its work as your own is not. And if a teacher has asked for no AI, that rule comes first.
- Try the task first and mark the line where you got stuck.
- Ask for the method, not the answer: “Don't solve it. Give me only the first step and why.”
- Finish it yourself, then ask the AI to check your working and point to the first mistake.
- Solve a similar problem with no help and explain it in your own words.
Homework help by grade: primary, 5th to 9th, 10th and 11th
General education in Azerbaijan has three stages: primary (grades 1 to 4), general secondary (5 to 9) and full secondary (10 and 11). Each needs a different kind of help.
- Primary school (grades 1 to 4): the parent should be the one using AI, since OrujovAI, like many AI services, is not meant for anyone under 13. Ask how to explain the topic simply, then explain it yourself with objects and drawings.
- Grades 5 to 9: algebra, geometry, physics and chemistry arrive, and each topic leans on the last. Ask AI to explain rules plainly, check your solutions and make short practice sets before the 9th-grade final exams.
- Grades 10 and 11: attention turns to the 11th-grade final exams and admission. Review mistakes topic by topic and take timed DİM-format practice tests.
- Languages and history: write essays yourself and ask for feedback, and check dates against the textbook.
Maths, physics and chemistry: the method, not just the answer
A good explanation makes one move per step and says why. Try these examples yourself first, then compare.
OrujovAI Solve takes a typed problem, or a photo with a free account. It restates the problem so you can check it read the numbers right, opens the steps one at a time, draws a graph where it helps and offers a similar problem to practise on. The chat understands Azerbaijani typed without ə, ş or ç.
- Algebra: 3(x − 2) = 2x + 5. Open the brackets: 3x − 6 = 2x + 5, so x = 11. Check: 3 × 9 = 27 and 2 × 11 + 5 = 27.
- Physics: 120 km in 1.5 hours is v = s / t = 80 km/h; divide by 3.6 for about 22.2 m/s. Always check the units.
- Chemistry: to balance Al + O₂ → Al₂O₃, count atoms on each side and leave oxygen for last: 4Al + 3O₂ → 2Al₂O₃.
Preparing for summative assessments (KSQ and BSQ)
Under the Ministry of Science and Education's rules, the teacher gives a small summative assessment (KSQ) during or at the end of each unit, three to six times per half-year in every subject in grades 2 to 11. The school's management holds a big summative assessment (BSQ) at the end of each half-year: in every subject in grades 4, 9 and 11, and in grades 5 to 8 and 10 only in some subjects, mainly those of the final exams. Grades 2 and 3 have no BSQ, and grade 1 has no summative assessment at all.
Both are scored out of 100: above 80 is a 5, above 60 a 4, above 30 a 3, and 30 or below a 2. The half-year result is also worked out in points, then turned into a mark. With a BSQ, it is 40% of your KSQ average plus 60% of the BSQ: KSQs of 70, 85 and 55 (an average of 70) and a BSQ of 90 give 70 × 0.4 + 90 × 0.6 = 82, which is a 5. Without a BSQ, it is just the KSQ average. Your school confirms the dates and subjects.
- Find out which units the assessment covers.
- Ask the AI for a short practice test on each of those units, and do it against the clock.
- Get every mistake explained, and the next day ask for new questions on those topics only.
For parents: helping when you don't know the subject
You don't need to remember 8th-grade physics or speak the language your child is taught in. Photograph the task and ask in your own language: “Explain this to me, then tell me how to explain it to a 10-year-old, and give me three questions to check.”
Fractions, for example: cut one apple into 2 equal parts and another into 4. A half is bigger than a quarter, because more pieces means smaller pieces. Then compare 2/3 and 3/4 with a common denominator of 12: 8/12 and 9/12, so 3/4 is bigger.
Signs of copying: neat homework, weak class results, no way to explain a step. Rather than a ban, set a rule: try first, AI for hints, then explain one problem to you. OrujovAI study rooms add focus: one shared timer, an AI teacher keeping pupils on task, and a private report link for the family after every session.
Safe AI use for children
An AI chat is a tool, not a friend. Simple rules:
- Check the age rule: many AI services, OrujovAI included, are not meant for children under 13; younger children use AI only with a parent beside them.
- Share no full name, school, address or photos of faces; a photo of the task is enough.
- Treat answers as drafts and check them against the textbook.
- Anything worrying goes to a parent or teacher, not to an AI.
- Follow the school's rules on AI.
Questions
Is there a free AI homework helper that explains step by step?
Yes. OrujovAI is free to start, with no card. Solve explains a typed problem step by step without an account; photos need a free account. The chat explains in Azerbaijani, Russian or English.
Can AI do my homework for me?
It can, but copying teaches nothing and won't help in a class test without a phone. Use AI for the method and to check your solution.
Can ChatGPT or other AI solve homework correctly?
Often, not always: any AI can misread a condition or slip on arithmetic, so substitute the answer back. In its standard mode, OrujovAI Solve works each problem twice independently and warns you if the answers disagree.
Does OrujovAI have the answers to my textbook?
No. It has no answer keys for textbooks or KSQ and BSQ papers. It solves the exact problem you type or photograph.
